Ana Teles is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research in microeconomics focuses on the use of auction theory to study problems in the efficient allocation of resources in public procurement. In addition, Teles is a Teaching Assistant for graduate students in Microeconomics. Previously, she graduated summa cum laude from the Masters degree programme for Economics and Social Science at the Università Bocconi in Milan, where she also worked as a Research Assistant, undertaking data analysis for a research project on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Swedish labour market.  In her leisure time, Teles likes to bake pastries and listen to Schubert’s chamber music.
